After getting tired of crawling into camping tents, I decided to buy this one.I LOVE how much space is in here. I use it for solo car camping, and it is a mansion for a one person dance party, standing up. (I'm 5' 10".) I'm not sure about fitting 6 people in there, but there is definitely plenty of room for at most 3. Maybe I'm just partially claustrophobic and need my space.Yes, one person CAN set it up. I do it myself all the time. For setup, I recommend:- Set up the roof first:recommend locking in the middle pole of the roof first, then, using that as reference, lock in the other roof poles.- Spread the rainfly over the roof BEFORE locking in the leg poles.If you attach the leg poles before spreading the rainfly, the roof will be too high up to spread the rainfly. (I learned from experience)- Then attach the leg poles one by one.- Attach the tent fabric to the leg poles on the sides and the bottom. Then hook the rainfly onto the leg poles.- Stake everything in windy/storming weather.Easy peasy.Unfortunately, I had to dock one star. The rainfly is not completely waterproof. I was sleeping in the middle of a thunderstorm with pouring rain. I felt water drip on me. (It wasn't too much, but enough to cause some anxiety). Two days later, as I was tearing down the tent, I noticed water on the tent roof *underneath* the rainfly. So the rainfly fabric is not adequate for pouring rain.There wasn't any water coming up from the floor though. I guess the floor fabric is well-waterproofed.Absolutely love this tent, but some things could have been better. The sky screens are amazing and this has terrific air flow, especially with a little fan. Can fit a queen sized air mattress. Love how easy it is to set up, the space and height made me so happy! Love the color! “Red” is rust orange just as the picture shows which I was hoping for. Super spacious for such a reasonably small footprint!As for the cons: the front of the tent only has one side that opens as a door, if it had both the bed could be in the middle and that would give a lot more flexibility in setup. The most important thing however is the zippers are terrible! One upper corner of my tent looks like maybe it is stretched/sewn slightly off and maybe that made the issue worse but there would be issues no matter what-the zippers are so hard to work! The whole zipper track of my door seems like it’s pulled slightly apart, it is really hard to work and gets stuck every time-EVERY TIME! Also instead of one zipper it is a separate one at the bottom. The flap that covers the zipper is so long that even when I hold it open with my other hand and am super careful it gets stuck on that extra fabric, and when you work the zipper from inside it usually gets stuck before you can fit your hand out to hold it out of the way. I don’t know why all companies are not using the y22k zippers! The entire zipper system is so low quality. They work fine for the windows, but not for a door. They could have saved expenses by just adding a quality zipper to the door and cheating out on the others. Made a tent I am super happy with into one u wanted to kick a hole though after one weekend! Also, there is only one hook up top near the door. I feel they missed an opportunity to add some ties to the top of the tent for more places to hang things because the poles are excellent and can totally take the weight. I get that it is a super cheap tent but it would have been so little time and effort to do that.We are avid campers and upgraded to this larger tent this summer. It is so easy to put together with the colored poles and it has held up great on some windy nights. It’s more than enough room for our family of 3 plus our dog. My husband and I are both tall too so the height is very nice.I was surprised by how small this tent is when I first opened the box. When I got it out of the box, I assumed something must be wrong but was astonished by how large the tent was once it was spread out. It was put together in less than ten to fifteen minutes. The same quantity when it is disassembled, folded, and placed back into the bag it was sent in. With lots of room between individuals, the quantity of space is ideal for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). The waterproof component hasn't been tested, but I'm eager to do so because it seems well thought out. Although the supports appear strong, it's unclear how they will do in a deluge. Will update review once I test it or experience it. I would recommend this to families! Happy Camping!!!!I like everything about my tentGreat for summer but definitely want different for spring/ fall weather as roof of tent is screen.Tent was a value price...I used it in action for first time...easy to assemble and its big.....love it..would buy a second one..Love this tent. This is super lightweight, and sturdy when put together. My kids wanted to have a sleepover with their friends so we set this up in the backyard for them. All of the kids loved the room and the ability to look up at the stars. After putting this together, I suggest putting the red poles in first, then the blue, then the green, that will make your life so much simpler. I put this together myself and it took me about 30 minutes. With two people, I’m guessing 10 minutes max. Well made for the price, highly recommend.
